Hollow Gate is an awful shot-on-video horror film from 1988. It concerns Mark, a young boy who is almost killed by his drunken, alcoholic father at a Halloween party. Fast forward 10 Halloween's later, a traumatized Mark decides to butcher a group teenagers one by one while wearing various costumes (soldier, doctor, cowboy). Over acting, bad writing, boring story and not one bit scary or suspenseful but it is unintentionally hilarious if you like these kinds of bad 80's horror films. Unrated; Gory Violence and Profanity. No official DVD release here in the USA but it is available on Region 2 DVD in German.
