1977 The Child

The Child aka Zombie Child is a 1977 low budget, evil kid horror film with bad acting, crappy dubbing, hokey gore effects and bizarre piano music. But I love that it's set around Halloween, has a spooky jack-o-lantern, a scarecrow that comes to murderous life, eerie foggy cemetery scenes, and crusty old cannibal zombies.

Here is the synopsis: A newly-hired housekeeper (Laurel Barnett) in a remote area is alarmed to discover that her boss's eleven-year-old daughter (Rosalie Cole) is using her supernatural powers to take revenge on the people she holds responsible for her mother's death, with the aid of her flesh-eating zombie 'friends'. Rated R.
