1979 Casper's Halloween Special

Casper goes out on Halloween dressed as a real boy, but only a group of orphans accept him. Casper must prevent a group of mischief-making ghosts from ruining Halloween for the group of trick-or-treating orphans. Together, the new friends try to stop evil Hairy Scary in a musical adventure.

Casper's Halloween Special (aka Casper Saves Halloween and Casper the Friendly Ghost: He Ain't Scary, He's Our Brother) is a Halloween television special that premiered October 30, 1979 on NBC and featured Casper the Friendly Ghost and the same cast as Casper and the Angels, produced by Hanna-Barbera and directed by Carl Urbano.

Turner Home Entertainment released Casper Saves Halloween on VHS on September 5, 1995.
